Berliner Timo Nasseri currently has work in the Sublime exhibition at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art. His reflective stainless steel pieces are like kaleidoscopic galaxies of their own. Often exhibited sunken into gallery walls they defy viewers expectation of seeing themselves reflected, Nassari explains in an interview with James Parry; “It’s all about people looking at people. They even put their heads inside the sculpture (Epistrophy, 2008) to try and see themselves.”
